The representation of queer sexuality in modern American media is disproportionally tiny in compare to the straight world. Many (if not the most) topics of queer sexuality are being avoided at all. Many media giants like Instagram actively "shadow ban" queer content. So open talk about queer sexuality is still "Taboo" and this artwork is a rebellion against such "norms".
